On the 5th March 2017, Pesta Ang Pow UKM (PAPUKM) under the society of Chinese Community Council (CCC) held an annual dinner in accordance to the Chinese cultures. The dinner held in Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Rahman (DECTAR) was significant where 1000 people have their dinner simultaneously.
I was part of the committee member of the event under the sponsorship department. As part of the sponsorship department, we were to seek sponsorships for the event. For example, POKKA and Miao Miao were among the companies that agreed to sponsor food and drinks for the event.

We were required to attend the rehearsals of the event twice before the day of the event. It was an eye-opening and memorable experience for me and I am very grateful to be part of the grand event. It was exciting to see performances during the event like, sketches, song performances and magic show. The decoration of the event was very meticulous as well, and that impressed me a lot.

This event indeed is grand as it gained coverage from the media and was participated by many outsiders, not only students from the National University of Malaysia. It was nice to see many people coming together to appreciate the Chinese culture, and to some, to learn the culture. It was definitely tiring by the end of the day, but it was a great experience for me.
