A Day Out in the Hearts of Kuala Lumpur!

I went for a short tour around Kuala Lumpur to explore and to learn; just because we should never stop learning. I live in Petaling Jaya, and one thing that I know as a local, it is very seldom that we explore the places where we are from.

Hence, I decided to make good use of my semester break and explore the world underwater by visiting the KLCC Aquarium. The aquarium is located in Petronas Twin Towers and it was a good opportunity for me to conveniently check out the iconic twin towers that we Malaysians are very proud of.

I felt like a kid again in the aquarium as I saw many different types of aquatic organisms; but I was most excited as I passed through the underwater tunnel. I could see gigantic turtles swimming past, not to mention sharks and jellyfish and so many other fish. I even got the rare opportunity to see a diver feeding all the fish in the underwater tunnel.

Halfway through the underwater tunnel

After exiting the aquarium, I peeped into Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur before making my way back to the twin towers. Arriving at the twin towers, I took pictures with the building in my background, which is a must! However, it was indeed regretful that I did not manage to make it up the observatory deck at the twin towers as it was fully booked and I did not know about it earlier. Nevertheless, I will make sure to come back here again and go up the observatory deck!
