On the 5th of May, there was a musical event held in Dewan Canselor Tun Abdul Razak (DECTAR), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. It was the Newtune Live Performance NTLP20 under the society NewTune which was branched out from the Chinese Council Community and Artisukma UKM.
The event started at 7pm and audiences were already allowed to enter the hall to be seated. The event started with icebreaking and award sessions to online competitions held prior to the day of the event.
The event continued with performances by the university's very own students who composed, transposed and wrote the original especially for the live performance. It was very inspiring to see students to perform confidently their original song and enjoy their stage time since the theme of the event this year is "PLAY".
The event ended roughly at 11pm. Personally, as a music lover, I enjoyed the performances and was very inspired. I look forward to the event next year!
